Be Aware of Asbestos Exposure in Your Area

One of our main goals is to raise awareness of the dangers of asbestos so that we, as a world, as a community, will be more aware of the possibility of developing mesothelioma.  Mesothelioma is extremely difficult to diagnose in its early stages, that is why we need to work together.  If we can start a wildfire of asbestos and mesothelioma awareness, we will be able to accomplish great things. For one, the quality of life for the patient will improve due to early detection.  When caught early, surgery is commonly used as the initial treatment option. While invasive, it is an optimal alternative to months of chemotherapy, radiation treatment, and dealing with all the negative side effects that accompany these treatment options.  Learn more about the side effects of chemotherapy, the different ways to administer it, the various types of chemotherapy, and common side effects to prepare for here, chemotherapy for mesothelioma.

By being aware of all the common asbestos locations in your area, you will be able to take the necessary precautions to protect yourself, your family, and this knowledge will immediately reduce your risk of developing malignant mesothelioma cancer.

Example, you’ve just visited the link to your state below and realized you have been living near a warehouse or shipyard that is known for asbestos exposure because many of it’s employees have filed claims. With this new and invaluable information, you have an outstanding chance at prevention.  As now you are aware of your possible previous exposure, you could include a mesothelioma cancer screening into your annual check up as it takes an average of 40 years to develop once asbestos has been inhaled or ingested.

Our mission is to save lives and offer support in any way that we can.  Start off by finding your state, learn about the history of asbestos in your state, and please take note of all the companies listed.  If you recognize any, take action! Involve your friends and family and anyone you know that could have possibly been exposed as well.
